Their success was honoured last year when they received the “2009 Isle of Man Newspapers Award for Innovation and Independent Thinking.”

This is not the first time that the gambling company has been recognised by the media; Roger Raatgever, Microgaming CEO, was named Business Person of the Year in 2008; as well as being awarded Company of the Year. In 2007, Microgaming also won the award for New Business and Programme Development.
